Vegetarian Dip & Vegetable Tray
Summertime and the livin’s easy.
Vegetables are nutritious, they are crisp and they make you feel healthy and light. That is why this is the perfect snack to have when you host guests this summer. As easy as putting dips and veggies out for a party seems, this really does turn out beautifully and is a great way to eat pretty! Sometimes simple really is best.
Serving the dips right out of the container is my kinda style, super casual. If you’re wanting to impress the guests, you could scoop the dips into individual bowls as well to spice up the presentation.
I suggest chilling the dips for as long as possible until the guests arrive. You could even set them on an ice block with a linen napkin over or place them over ice to keep cold when eating outdoors. I found all of these at my local health food store, Mothers Market. If you cannot find these exact brands, any hummus, guacamole, salsa or dip you like could work too!
For the dip tray, you make the call on how many veggies you think you'll need. We ended up eating this over the course of two days, and we had it for 4 adults and 3 kids. Perfect to keep as a healthy, crunchy snack poolside!
I also made my Vegetable Hand Rolls and plated them next to my veggies. You can find the recipe on my site as well!
Sweet Mini Bell Peppers
Fresh Long Green Beans
Onion Dip (Organic Onion Dip Packet mixed w/sour cream or dairy free yogurt)
Ranch Dip (Organic Ranch Dip Packet mixed w/sour cream or dairy free yogurt)
I used a circular glass tray and arranged my veggies by type and layering them in different sections.
I added the dips on the side over a beautiful printed linen napkin.
